Brooklyn-based SAVOY’s rock edged, yet club-geared releases, along with their notoriously high energy live shows have spawned a hybrid dance culture of its own. In just under a year and a half, the live electro-house trio has made a name for itself by effectively bridging the gap between the concert venue rocker and the club-bangin’ partier – and the result is a rapidly emerging new market that can’t seem to get enough. In such a short period of time, SAVOY has truly established themselves as not only talented producers but as innovators of live electronic music.

I’ve had this one on repeat for the last couple days. Our boy Mr. Chris Weld (a.k.a. Dr. Tropical a.k.a. PB&J founder) gave it to me. Live recorded rip of Avicii’s new ID track played at UMF 2012, courtesy of Finland’s Snouz. The quality’s not the best, but certainly good enough. Just an incredible track. This is the Avicii the sound the world can’t get enough of. Enjoy kids. Happy Friday.

Here’s one you’re gonna want to check out. Triarchy is a producing/deejay group consisting of Alberto Beeck and Patrick Pietro Pizzorni. Natives of South Florida, these two young guns are very familiar with the notorious Miami nightclubs that many consider to be the heart of the international house music scene. That, combined with their distinct ability to produce some of the best and most unique bootlegs/mashups out there, Triarchy’s played alongside and earned the respect of countless world-renowned deejays, producers and record labels. Their tracks have been featured by the likes of Tiesto, Gareth Emery, Sharam, Andy Moor, Craig David, Tritonal, John O’Callaghan, Blake Jarrell, Ben Gold and various others. Triarchy’s currently signed with six record labels, including Ultra Records and Armada Music.
So what does that mean for you guys? Fortunately, Triarchy has all of their tracks available free to download on their facebook page. Just give them a like and download three packs (25 tracks total) of some of the best bootleg/mashup/edits I’ve heard. The four tracks above are just a few of my top picks.
